Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Consultant - Microsoft NAV

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: 6 months+

Start: 2 weeks


  • Ability to code/debug NAV Classic Reports (MS Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3 system with 5.0 executable)
  • Experience with Sql Server Reporting Services, Report Builder, Report Scheduling
  • Experience with NAV upgrades (especially Report conversions)
  • Experience with SQL Tools (SSIS packages)
  • Around 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Thorough knowledge in C/AL and C-side is must.
  • Should have been involved in at least 1-2 end to end NAV Implementation cycles as a technical Consultant.
  • Should have been involved in Designing technical solution/coding/testing/implementation and maintenance of Dynamics NAV ERP.
  • Should have a decent exposure on RTC Report designing in NAV 2009 or NAV 2013, SQL Server 2005/2008, SSRS and Web Services.
  • Exposure on.NET would be an added advantage.
  • Exposure on Migration project preferred.
  • Should have experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV & general understanding of ERP Software.
  • Must have ability to work and to face customer independently.
  • Certified Microsoft professional in NAV (Installation or Development) Open to travel anywhere in India and overseas.
  • Must have Good communication, analytical and logical thinking.

Required Experience

  • 6+ years' experience in Microsoft NAV

Job Responsibilities

  • Tech consultant with NAV background, having worked on the MS NAV product extensively and done multiple implementations.
  • Worked on different NAV versions, well aware of customization in NAV, having developed customization from scratch.
  • Worked on't complete development life cycle of least 7 to 8 projects.
  • Also having done projects on support, upgrade and Migrations.
  • Knows the SDLC and MS methodology well; able to articulate and understand the pain points of customer.
  • Design the solution to address the pain points and deliver it, having exposure to the application support engagement.
  • Should be able to resolve the issues within SLA's.
